HALA BIRA, ILOILO!
T-shirt designs I made for an apparel business in Iloilo for the 2019 Dinagyang Festival! It was a blast working on this project because I have the freedom to conceptualize and pick colors I personally like.
For this piece, I want to showcase the fun things Ilonggos and tourists usually do during Dinagyang like eat the famous Lapaz Batchoy, visit historical churches , tour around Calle Real and party with the Ilonggos!
This 2nd design is inspired by the map of Iloilo. I miss the Ilonggos. I miss home! This is what I feel as I was creating this artwork. It reminds me of the laid back life and it excites me to go home!
The 3rd design I did is more on typography of witty lines because memes and puns are a thing right now.
In the 4th design, the client wanted a big DINAGYANG word written on the shirt.
